Make Your Vinyl Look It’s Very Best

After installation

  • Wait at least 24 hours or other time recommended by us before cleaning your newly installed vinyl flooring.
  • Cover your entryways with mats to reduce the amount of dirt, sand and oil that could be tracked in. Avoid mats that have a rubber backing as this may cause damage or discolor your flooring.
  • Take your shoes off at the door! Be sure to wear slippers or socks. Your feet have oil on them that will transfer onto the floor.
  • Use floor protectors made of hard plastic or felt on your leg furniture.

Make Sure Your Laminate Floors Stay Solid!

Laminate is durable – but like other floors – it will go a long way if cared for properly…

  • Mats – Place mats at every entrance to collect excessive moisture and dirt before you enter.
  • Sweeping and Mopping – Dust and dirt act as abrasive on laminate floors. If not swept and cleaned regularly, laminate can become dull quickly. To mop use a damp mop not a wet/soaked mop. Never let water stand on a laminate floor. Water can seep into the floor causing it to swell.
  • Clean spills immediately. Don?t allow liquids to stand on the floor.
  • Use easy glide protectors on the feet of your furniture. When moving heavy furniture lift to prevent scratches.
